I destroyed this blog because somebody told me the Japanese government passed some SOPA/PIPA-type law that could possibly get you arrested for even watching YouTube videos of copyrighted material.
Since almost every page of my blog included an embedded YouTube clip that somebody uploaded from Japanese TV, I thought I would delete everything to avoid going to jail. I have since heard that this was hasty and completely unnecessary.
Oh well.
My buddy GodzillaRadio over at JBUROGU is already doing a much better job at talking about Japanese comedy than I ever was, and since I'm not sure how to have an interesting blog on this subject without videos, I guess that's probably the end of this site for me.
If I can think of some way to do a decent blog without getting arrested, I might continue, but I should probably just leave it to other people.
